After a hiatus spanning the better part of a decade, A Liquid Landscape are back with new music. Their third full length album is titled Rogue Planet and is set to be released on Glassville Records in 2026. Musically it is a continuation of the art rock mix the band is known for, however, Rogue Planet leans heavier into the alternative rock sound of the late nineties and early zeroes.
The astronomical term Rogue Planet refers to a free-floating planet that is not gravitationally bound to any star. In the case of the album it serves as a social commentary on the current state of civilization. The world is at our literal fingertips, yet there is a global sense of disconnect. This album is a warning, a flirt with doom and a glimmer of hope for the disillusioned.
